\nBy India Today Web Desk<\/b><\/a>: Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo is relishing the prospect of being the first player to score in five men’s World Cups as he scored a 65th penalty to help Portugal to a 3-2 victory over Ghana in a Group H match in Qatar.<\/p>\nRonaldo went down after a brief shoulder-to-shoulder collision with Mohammed Salisu. Ronaldo closed his eyes as he waited to begin his run-up, stuttered, and smashed the ball into the net to the right of the goalkeeper. In the 65th minute of the Group H match, Ronaldo converted a penalty<\/strong><\/a> to put his team ahead.<\/p>\nAlthough Andre Ayew pulled Ghana even, Portugal turned on the jets with two quick goals to essentially seal the victory at Stadium 974. Even though Osman Bukari scored a late goal for Ghana, Joao Felix’s delicate finish gave Portugal the lead and Rafael Leao’s third goal gave them their first victory in the World Cup opener since 2006.<\/p>\n
