Oreva Group\u00a0had the contract to renovate the bridge which collapsed, resulting in over 130 deaths.<\/p>\n<p>“This just shows the priority of the establishment here,” he told reporters when he was being taken from the cyber-crime police station to a local court.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr Gokhale, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/india-news\/trinamool-congresss-saket-gokhale-arrested-by-gujarat-police-over-tweet-on-morbi-bridge-collapse-alleges-partys-derek-obrien-3581167\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">detained last night from Jaipur<\/a>, had tweeted images of what looked like\u00a0newspaper clippings saying “RTI revealed\u00a0the PM’s visit to Morbi cost Rs 30 crore”, on December 1. He said\u00a0Mr Gokhale had taken a Monday night flight from New Delhi to Jaipur, from where he was “picked up” by Gujarat Police.<\/p>\n<p>Derek O’Brien later reached Ahmedabad to assist in Saket Gokhale’s defence, as did Mr Gokhale’s mother.<\/p>\n<p>Trinamool head and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said Saket Gokhale had only tweeted what he thought were\u00a0news reports. “This is a vindictive attitude.
