Sushmita Sen<\/a>, on Thursday, left everyone, including us, worried when she announced on Instagram that she suffered a heart attack a few days ago. The actress shared a picture with her father, Subir Sen, and opened up about her health. Now, Sushmita Sen, in an Instagram live, has thanked all the doctors and the medical staff \u201cfor making all of this so painless\u201d. The actress has also announced that she will make a powerful comeback with the third season of Aarya 3. <\/i>She said, \u201cWill be back on Aarya 3 sets, I am going to give you all a season 3 like never before.\u00a0 Yes, I will get well soon. I can’t wait to get back on the Aarya set. Everyone is going to sit with their hearts in their mouth.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Talking about the importance of regular health checkups,\u00a0Sushmita Sen<\/a> said, \u201cA lot of young people are not surviving heart attacks, so it is very important to keep checking yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sushmita Sen added that she suffered a \u201cmassive heart attack\u201d. She had a \u201c95 per cent blockage\u201d in the main artery. Highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle, the actress said, \u201cI know a lot of you will stop going to the gym and say, \u2018it did not help her’, but that is not good. It did help me. I survived a very big heart attack. It was massive with a 95 per cent blockage in the main artery. I survived because I have kept an active lifestyle. I believe that for what it is worth, it was a phase and it passed. I am very lucky to be on the other side. It doesn’t put fear in me, instead, I now have a feeling of promise to look forward to something.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sushmita Sen continued, \u201cWomen need to understand that heart attack is not a men’s thing. Also, it is nothing to be afraid of, but it is important to be vigilant. When you get a new lease to life, you respect it and are careful and that is when you learn to exercise and strengthen your will even more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with the video, Sushmita Sen wrote, \u201cThank you, all. I love you. Dugga Dugga.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time of sharing the news related to her health, Sushmita Sen wrote, \u201cKeep your heart happy and courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” (Wise words by my father Subir Sen). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty is done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’.”<\/p>\n
