the IMD said in its advisory.<\/p>\n<p>The weather office has also predicted thunderstorms and strong winds over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh during the next two days.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thunderstorms with gusty winds likely over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh during next 2 days and decrease thereafter,&#8221; the advisory said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">5 days warning:<br \/>(i) Thunderstorms with gusty winds likely over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh during next 2 days and decrease thereafter.<br \/>(ii) Gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2-4\u00b0C over most parts of the country during next 5 days. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kHMsxq379U\">pic.twitter.com\/kHMsxq379U<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 India Meteorological Department (@Indiametdept) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Indiametdept\/status\/1644617533276782592?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 8, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier this month, the weather department had said that several parts of country, barring parts of northwest and peninsular region, are expected to experience above-normal maximum temperatures from April to June.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A significantly higher number of heatwave days are predicted over parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab and Haryana,&#8221;
