This is not a drill. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo<\/i>, starring Vijay in the lead role, is dominating the global box office and how. The film has even left behind Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon<\/i> (starring Leonardo DiCaprio), reports Variety. According to Variety<\/a>, the film has managed to collect $48.5 million (after four days), while Killers Of The Flower Moon<\/i> has garnered $44 million. “In terms of worldwide cumulative among new releases, Leo<\/i> scored $48.5 million (after four days) compared with the $44 million earned by Killers of the Flower Moon<\/i>,” read an excerpt from a Variety report.<\/p>\n “In the US, Leo<\/i> was released by Prathyangira Cinemas and earned $2.1 million over the weekend. In the U.K. and Ireland it was released by Ahimsa Entertainment and collected \u00a31.07 million ($1.3 million) in its first three days of release,” the Variety report added.<\/p>\n Besides Vijay, Leo<\/i><\/a>\u00a0also features Sanjay Dutt and Trisha, along with Arjun Sarja, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, George Maryan, Priya Anand and Mathew Thomas. The film marks Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s second collaboration after Master<\/i>, which released in 2021.<\/p>\n Leo<\/i><\/a> is part of Kanagaraj’s ‘Lokesh Cinematic Universe’, which also includes Karthi-led Kaithi<\/i> and Vikram<\/i>, headlined by film veteran Kamal Haasan.<\/p>\n
