This remarkable total shattered the <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/sports\/cricket\/ipl\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" target=\"\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IPL<\/a> record for the highest-ever team total, previously held by Royal Challengers Bangalore (263\/5 vs Pune Warriors India) in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>In reply, Mumbai Indians launched a valiant pursuit but fell short, accumulating 246\/5 in their 20 overs. Nonetheless, their total became the highest second-innings score in IPL history.<\/p>\n<p>The combined total of 523 runs marked a new milestone in <!-- -->T20 cricket<!-- -->, becoming the highest match aggregate ever recorded, surpassing the previous record set in a T20I between South Africa and West Indies. <br \/>It was the first time the match aggregate crossed the 500-run mark in IPL history.<br \/>Sunrisers&#8217; formidable batting lineup, led by <!-- -->Heinrich Klaasen<!-- --> (80* off 34), <!-- -->Abhishek Sharma<!-- --> (63 off 23), and Travis Head (62 off 24), propelled them to their historic total.
