The student, Shaurya Sinha, wrote on X, formerly Twitter,\u00a0\u201cMet the\u00a0one and only\u00a0@tim_cook on a dish hike run at Stanford,&#8221;\u00a0adding that he\u00a0\u201casked him about the new Apple iPad campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Met the one and only <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tim_cook?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@tim_cook<\/a> on a dish hike run at Stanford. Mr Sinha also revealed that the CEO was\u00a0\u201chigh key super sweet\u00a0and\u00a0I&#8217;d\u00a0never wanna disrespect him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apple&#8217;s\u00a0latest iPad Pro advertisement showed the\u00a0tablet&#8217;s\u00a0capabilities, including watching TV shows, listening to music, and playing video games, while focussing on its slim design.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The ad showed a visual theme, but controversy sparked when the ad showed a hydraulic press destroying creative instruments and devices, which many found insensitive and disrespectful. Critics argued that in this instance, the tech giant has damaged its reputation, with some complaining that the ad suggests technology stifles creativity instead of fostering it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Crush! | iPad Pro | Apple\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ntjkwIXWtrc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Widespread criticism followed, with Apple accused of being\u00a0&#8220;tone deaf\u201d.\u00a0CEO Tim Cook faced criticism for his post on\u00a0X\u00a0where he encouraged people to\u00a0&#8220;imagine all the things\u00a0it&#8217;ll\u00a0be used\u00a0to create.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In response, the company deleted the ad from airwaves and\u00a0issued an apology.
