Pat Cummins admitted that SRH would look to move on from KKR’s hammering in the Qualifier 1 match of the IPL 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on May 21, Tuesday. KKR became the first team to storm into the final of IPL 2024 after thrashing SRH by 8 wickets. Cummins, while speaking to the broadcasters after SRH’s loss, reflected on the team’s disappointing performance.<\/p>\n
“Yeah, we will try to put this behind quickly. Good thing we will have a crack at it (second qualifier). You have those days in T20 cricket where things didn’t quite work out. We weren’t where we wanted with the bat and obviously couldn’t do much with the ball. Felt that extra batting was important (picking the impact sub) on this wicket,” Cummins said.
