Amid the controversy over National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission into medical colleges, four men arrested from Bihar have confessed that the question paper for the entrance exam was leaked the previous day.<\/p>\n

NEET-UG 2024 is a burning issue that has seen students hit the streets over allegations of grace marks awarded to over 1,500 students and question paper leak.<\/p>\n

While the grace marks were later scrapped and the students were offered a re-test, paper leak was denied by the education minister.<\/p>\n

The four men arrested from Bihar include three aspirants – Anurag Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Amit Anand – and Sikandar Yadavendu, a junior engineer in Danapur municipal council.<\/p>\n

The students admitted that they received the question paper the day prior to their exam and were made to memorize it. In a statement to the cops, they said the exact questions were asked in the exam the next day.<\/p>\n

Nearly 24 lakh students had appeared for the NEET-UG 2024 for undergraduate medical courses on May 5.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
