The inaugural edition of Major League Cricket in the USA will feature as many as 13 South African cricketers competing for the various franchises.
Texas Super Kings will have the services of three South African players, namely – Faf du Plessis, David Miller and Gerald Coetzee. Similarly, MI New York have three South African cricketers in their squad – Dewald Brevis, Kagiso Rabada and David Wiese.

Washington Freedom and Seattle Orcas have two Proteas each in their respective squads, while LA Knight Riders and San Francisco Unicorns have one SA player each in their teams.

The six-team event that runs from July 13 to 30 in the US, will witness the ever reliable services of professional Proteas cricketers in the tournament.
