Britain’s most prolific child killer of modern times was jailed for life on Monday, with no prospect of release, for murdering seven newborn babies and attempting to kill six others in her care. 

Neo-natal nurse Lucy Letby, 33, refused to attend court for the sentencing in Manchester, northwest England, sparking outrage from her young victims’ families.
